A BURST water main has closed a road and is affecting properties in south Hereford this morning. Many residents in the Belmont, Newton Farm, Redhill, Whitecross and King's Acre areas of Hereford have this morning reported that they have no water. A Welsh Water spokesperson confirmed the major leak from a burst trunk main in the HR2 area was reported at around 1.30am this morning. Workmen are currently on scene at Hoarwithy Road. It is not yet known when the supply will be restored.
