A man has been taken to hospital after a stabbing incident on Galgorm Road in Ballymena.

The ambulance service sent three emergency crews and two doctors to the scene. The man was taken to Antrim Area Hospital. The road has been cordoned off between Waveney Road and Leighinmore Avenue as part of the ongoing police investigation. Diversions are in place and members of the public are asked to avoid the area and seek an alternative route for their journey if possible. Belfast Telegraph
