New Year's Eve is typically a night of celebration, and while 2020's edition will be a little more subdued than in recent years, that doesn't mean it has to be miserable. Indeed, Poppy Delevingne is positively looking forward to a quiet night in. "Usually I would spend NYE with friends, dancing like a mad thing, with an abundance of hugging and kissing… this year I'm going to bed early. I'm actually looking forward to waking up on 1 January feeling fresh as a daisy," she tells British Vogue. It's a similar story for her older sister Chloe: "My husband and I usually spoil ourselves with a fabulous meal and a delicious bottle of fizz," she says, of her planned celebrations.
As for Cara, the baby of the family? "In a normal year I'd be on a great holiday. This year I'll be cosy at home." One ritual they'll all be sharing in is a Prosecco cocktail, courtesy of their new line of fizz, Della Vite, consumed "extra cold". The festive mood will also extend to party tricks. "I am double-jointed, so my party tricks tend to involve me contorting part of my body while trying to make others do the same," says Chloe. As for Poppy: "I know all the dance routines to every Spice Girls song EVER." And Cara? "Beatboxing is my best party trick – no accessories needed." "Family Twister is fun but Sardines is always our favourite," they say. "It's all about who can hide for longest. You always take a glass of something with you, in case you are stuck in your hiding place for hours on end." Here, the sisters share their three favourite Prosecco recipes to enjoy this New Year's Eve. The Poppy Spritz "A fruity, floral cocktail with sweeter tones, suitable for everyday celebrations. It should be paired with figs and honey, or Italian gelato." 25ml Papavero Poppy Liqueur 25ml sparkling water Add poppy liqueur and sparkling water to a wine glass with ice.
