The club informed that Garcia and one member of staff have tested positive for COVID-19. "Both personnel will now observe a period of self-isolation in accordance with Premier League and UK Government protocol on quarantine," the club said in a statement. Garcia becomes the sixth City player to test positive. Gabriel Jesus and Kyle Walker were both revealed on Christmas Day to have contracted coronavirus while a further three unnamed players have had to self-isolate in the subsequent days. On Monday, Everton's clash with City was postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak. Manchester City had informed that they reported a 'number of positive cases'. "After the latest round of COVID-19 testing, the club returned a number of positive cases, in addition to the four already reported on Christmas Day... Based on strong medical advice the Premier League, in consultation with both clubs, have decided to postpone the fixture," the club had said in a statement. Kieran Tierney broke the deadlock at the Hawthorns with a brilliant solo effort, before Bukayo Saka combined with Emile Smith Rowe to round off a flowing move to give the Gunners a 2-0 lead at the break. Alexandre Lacazette continued his recent improvement with a brace in the second half to ensure Arsenal secured a third straight win in the Premier League and moved up to 11th in the table After being mentioned as potential relegation candidates just a couple of weeks ago, there is now renewed optimism surrounding the north London outfit from fans, manager Mikel Arteta and the national media. But some supporters Arsenal fans have spotted how Dani Ceballos reacted to one of the goals. The Spaniard was recalled to the starting XI for the first time since the 4-1 EFL Carabao Cup defeat at the hands of Manchester City as he partnered Granit Xhaka in central midfield. Despite the visitors leading 2-0 early in the second half, Ceballos clearly didn't think the game was over - as proven in his celebration when Lacazette scored to effectively put the fixture out of the Baggies' reach. As spotted by fans on Reddit, the midfielder dropped to his knees and passionately celebrated the Frenchman making it 3-0. This moment prompted a lot of chatter amongst the fanbase... GetPhkt said: "Every goal is like a world cup winner for Ceballos." ishouldbeworkingalot said: "I saw this! Love the passion he has for the club even though he's a loanee! Definitely wouldn't mind signing him as a solid squad player! I think people forget he's only 24 as well!" Mahoganychicken said: "That is an Arsenal fan. Don't see passion like that from many players, let alone loanees." Big_Moist27 said: "Ceballos wears his heart on his sleeve and can be a bit of a wildcard, this is why I'm fond of him and happy he's at the club (even if he's just on loan)!" Ceballos wasn't alone in his happiness for Lacazette as Arteta praised the striker in his post-match press conference. "Laca is in a great moment he's scored I think five in the last four games," the Arsenal boss said. "It's what we need from our strikers as well. Auba has some chances today he could have scored the same in the last game or so. There is a lot of movement, there is good energy, there is a real purpose, everybody's playing forward. It's like we are freer to play there. And The understanding is coming to generate a lot of things there." Bitcoin has jumped 300 percent since this time last year, despite US economist Nouriel Roubini warning it was a "pure speculative asset and bubble with no fundamental value". This view is challenged by influential investors such as hedge fund managers Paul Tudor Jones and Stan Druckenmiller, and entrepreneur Michael Saylor, who are shifting to bitcoin as an alternative store of value to gold. The cryptocurrency soared by 18 percent on Sunday, reaching a new all-time high above $34,000. If bitcoin faces scrutiny - 'nothing they can do to stop it' The performance of the cryptocurrency in 2020 was in a league of its own when compared to gold's 25 percent and the 16 percent spike in Wall Street's 500 stockmarket index. In late December, Fundstrat analysts said: "Despite the rise in prices and valuations, we believe the conditions remain in place for the rally to continue." Fundstrat said that the latest money-printing by the US Federal Reserve could feed the demand for bitcoin. The world's preeminent cryptocurrency is becoming sought after by pension and sovereign wealth funds as an alternative store of value, Norway's Sovereign Wealth Fund have already indirectly acquired 600 bitcoin.
