An off-duty worker rescued the life of a baby elephant which was hit by a motorcycle in Thailand. Yes, in his career of 26 years, Mana Srivate has performed several resuscitations attempts as a rescue worker. But, he has never before performed Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on an elephant. On Sunday, when Mana was on off duty he was called for help. Because a baby elephant had been hit by a motorcycle in the eastern province of Chanthaburi.

In the video, Mana gives two-handed compressions to the baby elephant lying on its side as his colleagues a few metres away assist an injured motorcycle rider on the floor. Both the rider and elephant were recovering, and neither had severe injuries.
