An overturned car on the M23 near Gatwick Airport is causing severe delays to traffic. The car overturned on the M23 southbound near to J9 (Gatwick Airport) at around 6.30am on Wednesday (May 29). Highways England officers worked to clear the vehicle, and lanes have since reopened. However, there are delays of more than an hour and traffic is queuing for seven miles. Traffic system Inrix is reporting: "Queuing traffic for seven miles due to overturned car on M23 southbound at J9 (Gatwick Airport).
