Just months on from his killing his wife Chantelle, the abuser was exposed by Tina for his crime. He silenced her in a terrifying final showdown, murdering her before wrapping up her body and getting rid of the evidence. Viewers were horrified by the scenes, and many had hoped it would bring an end to Gray's lies.
Now, some viewers have predicted EastEnders could actually be planning a major twist. Many tipped Tina to still be alive, questioning whether she really died - with others spotting a "clue" that she might have survived. Despite Gray appearing to dispose of her body, many hoped she had survived the attack and might have found a way to escape. This could lead to her returning later on and exposing Gray for his crimes. There's also the fact viewers noticed the end credits did not change despite normally doing so with deaths. Some viewers also picked up on the fact the soap did not issue a warning over Tina's death like they did with Chantelle's murder. One fan wrote on Twitter: "I've got a feeling Tina is still alive just unconscious." (Image: BBC) Another said: " #eastenders Tina isn't dead. You see the strangulation marks on her neck. So sent to sleep but still alive. They also change the music at the credits normally when someone has died which they didn't." A third added: "Am I the only one who thinks Tina is still alive?" This was echoed by another who said: "A warning for Chantelle's death by Gray but not Tina.. yknow what that means? She's likely alive." (Image: BBC/Kieron McCarron/Jack Barnes) Actress Luisa Bradshaw-White has left the role, and confirmed her exit in October - stating it would air at the end of the year. After the dramatic episode aired she again confirmed the news on Twitter, with it seeming that Tina really is dead. EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
