Emmerdale star Lyndon Ogbourne has welcomed a son named Jack River into the world. The actor — who portrayed scheming Nathan Wylde in the ITV serial drama from 2009 to 2010 — revealed the news in an Instagram post, as he thanked his partner Marina for bringing an 'actual angel' into the world. Taking to Instagram, Lyndon said: 'Marina, I didn't realise I could fall deeper in love with you, but I have…' "You've brought us an actual angel. The actor also shared a number of photos of his newborn baby on his Instagram Story. Lyndon is best known to audiences for his sublime portrayal of sinister Nathan in Emmerdale — the eldest son of Natasha and Mark Wylde (Amanda Donohoe and Maxwell Caulfield) — between 2009 and 2010, and he featured in a number of high profile storylines during that time.

By the time he left the village, he had nothing left. In addition to Emmerdale, Lyndon also featured in long-running series Spooks, a TV adaptation of Robin Hood and medical serial drama Doctors. Emmerdale continues Thursday 6 February at 7pm and 8pm on ITV.
