After the highs of seeing off Leeds United at the weekend, a much-changed Reds line-up couldn't repeat that display as they missed the chance to go second in the Championship table. Lyle Taylor's first half strike proved the difference between the two sides, and here's what Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi had to say afterwards. What's your reaction to the result and performance? "We made a lot of mistakes - probably me first with some changes.

Every word Nottingham Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi said on injuries, team selection and Charlton Athletic defeat

"The best team won. They had just one chance in the first half - we gave them the chance to score and they scored. "After that, they controlled the game. "We could play for two or three hours and not create a lot. "Wrong night. Bad performance. "It was probably my mistake. "(Lewis) Grabban didn't play because he has a knee problem, like Samba Sow and Sammy Ameobi. "For Cashy (Matty Cash) and Yuri (Ribeiro), it was a mistake - not for who played tonight, but to keep the dynamic. "Tonight it was absolutely different to a few days ago. Absolutely different. "There was no rhythm, no fight and not the same spirit. It was the wrong dynamic and we made a lot of mistakes. "Charlton deserved to win." Do you put that down to yourself for the changes, or the players? "It was not the players. It is only my mistake. "I made the changes because we have a lot of games and have played a lot of games - for Cashy and Yuri, it was just my mistake. "For the others (Grabban, Sow and Ameobi), with some pain they cannot play. "We didn't want to take a risk because we play again on Saturday. (Image: PA) "It is easy to say after the game that it was wrong, but I absolutely take the responsibility. "But with this team, we played in a low rhythm and made a lot of mistakes. We didn't really create any chances. "It was absolutely different to three days ago. "Bad performance and bad result. And we miss another big opportunity." Did you worry this might happen after beating Leeds? "After Leeds, I said exactly that - that I was afraid for the games before and after it. "And what has happened is we took three points against Leeds and lost six points either side. "Against Birmingham, we controlled the game with the right team and we lost. "Tonight, it was different players and a different dynamic, but absolutely wrong." (Image: Dan Westwell) Are the injured players doubtful for Saturday? "Grabban didn't make training after the last game. He has had some treatment today and we will check on him tomorrow. "Samba Sow and Sammy Ameobi had treatment today, so we will check on them tomorrow. "There was no problem with Cashy and Yuri." "I am not frustrated, I am just disappointed because I said, 'I have a team, I have a group'. "When you give some players chances to play, they have to take it. "This is only my responsibility. I am standing in front of you saying, 'this is my mistake, a big mistake'. "But we need to keep going and keep fighting. "We have another game on Saturday which will be very difficult. "There are 14 games left to play and the season is so long. "But now we know; we know exactly what we need to do and exactly what we don't need to do anymore."
