Close Harry Gration has presented his final Look North show, after 42 years at the BBC.

The emotional broadcast featured many of his highlights as well as a number of special guests, including former Leeds United manager, Howard Wilkinson and cricket umpire, Dickie Bird. The BBC said they'd received "thousands of messages" from viewers who'd been affected by Gration over the years. For more than 40 years, Harry Grayson has said goodbye to TV viewers across Yorkshire tonight. Mr. Grayson, who turns 70 tomorrow, will present his final BBC Look North at 6.30pm tonight after starting the program in 1982. Born and raised in Bradford, Harry received an MBE in broadcasting services in 2013 in recognition of his long career, becoming one of Yorkshire's favorite characters and a "broadcasting legend".
