Corofin are the overwhelming favourites to retain their Connacht club football crown against Padraig Pearses today. Galway champions Corofin are also the reigning All-Ireland champions and are renowned for their silky attacking style of football. But they haven't seemed to have reached the heights of last season yet and can't afford to underestimate Padraig Pearses. The Roscommon side will be wary of task ahead though against a side that have won four of the last five Connacht titles and had a combined 37 points to spare in seeing off Nemo Rangers and Dr Crokes in the last two All-Ireland finals. But they are sure to leave it all on the pitch with the match set to throw in at 2pm in Tuam.
