Dreams of Fear begins with the death of a woman who has these terrible dreams.' Advertisement Amanda and Hilary tied the knot back in 2014, 12 years after the Celebrity Big Brother star came out as bisexual. 'I interviewed Amanda a million years ago when I was showbiz editor at the Daily Mirror and then about 10 years passed, and we'd always said we were going to have a drink,' Hilary recalled, remembering how they first met.

'When she left Coronation Street she called me and there was some journalistic work. And things changed…' 'It's not my fault!' gasped Amanda. 'Don't blame me!' 'We'd been talking about the journalism and Amanda writing her autobiography and me maybe helping out,' Hilary continued. 'We were half way up Bow Street when I had a halfway up to Damascus experience.' So, in turn, Hilary quite literally knew everything about Amanda before they began dating. Next thing, they were married 'for the sake of the dog', Amanda teased.
