The retailer has issued an urgent product recall as some products could contain shards of metal. The products affected are the Light Strawberry Single Pot and particular flavours of the Light Fruit Six Pack, Hull Live reports. Customers are being urged to return these products to their nearest stores to get a full refund. On Facebook, Aldi wrote: "Our supplier, Muller, has recalled these product as a precautionary measure because they may contain small pieces of metal.

"We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your co-operation." 4088600172521 and 4088600172194 are the barcodes affected. Affected products carry best before dates of 20/02/20, 26/02/20 and 04/03/20.
