TIK Tok star Siya Kakkar killed herself after her family said she received "threats", it was reported. The teenager had been receiving "threats" on the internet, but police said they were unable to confirm the motive at this stage of the investigation, the Mail reports. The news of Siya's death was confirmed by her manager Arjun Sarin, who managed all her work and endorsements.

He added: "Even he has no clue what went wrong that she had to go this way.
The social media star, who was just 16-years-old, died by suicide at her home in New Delhi, India, on June 25. Siya garnered 1.1million followers on video sharing app Tik Tok and was best known for sharing clips of herself performing dance rourtines. Delhi police confirmed the cause of death to India Today Television, saying: "Siya died by suicide at her residence in New Delhi at around 9pm on June 25. She lived with her family. "Her family is in shock and has requested privacy. No suicide note has been recovered."
