Pitches in 2015 were a farce: Dean Elgar Dean Elgar has come out and said the pitches that were used for the 2015 series between the two sides were a farce. South Africa were not able to go past 200 even once in 4 Tests and were bundled out for 79 on a rank turner in Nagpur. However, the first Test of the ongoing series seems to have a competitive track. And Elgar is certainly relieved and happy about it. He went on to make 160 to lead South Africa's strong fightback.
"It's great to contribute and at least some positive signs from a personal point of view that I'm growing as a player, but more importantly its always valuable to contribute to your side. If you want to use the last series against India in India.... don't think we should use those wickets because that was a farce," Dean Elgar said. (Read More)
