TV star Emily Atack is known for making viewers laugh out loud – and she certainly does that on her first episode as a new team captain on Celebrity Juice. In our exclusive teaser clip from the brand new ITV2 series, the show's host, funnyman Keith Lemon, challenges Emily to balance on a giant inflatable ball to win points for her team. As the 30 year old accepts, she's cheered on by her teammates actor Will Mellor and singer Tom Grennan, as well as rival team captain Laura Whitmore and her contestants, comedian Jimmy Carr and new Strictly Come Dancing star Clara Amfo. And it seems like Emily is having the time of her life on the show after she and Love Island host Laura replaced long-running team captain Holly Willoughby. He's just wrapped filming for his ITV2 show Shopping with Keith Lemon, and he's now buzzing for the 24th series of Celebrity Juice.
The ITV2 panel gameshow has been on air for 12 years now, so it's nothing new to the comedian – played by Leigh Francis – however, things will be slightly different this time round, as Keith will be joined by two new team captains. This year will see Love Island presenter Laura Whitmore and I'm A Celebrity… star Emily Atack take the reins, as they embark on what Keith is calling the new "chapter" of Celebrity Juice. Unlike his previous team captains, Keith says Whitmore and Atack aren't "competitive" with one another, but when it comes to him, Emily could drink him under the table. As well as being able to hold down more pints than the host, it seems Atack was also ahead of Keith when it came to her new job role. Things still could have turned out differently though, with Keith admitting he did think of departing after Ferne and Holly – who were both on the original panel from when the show first aired in 2008 – left the series.
Keith Lemon has revealed that he spotted Laura Whitmore years before she replaced Holly Willoughby on Celebrity Juice, as she actually made her debut in the audience. Speaking exclusively to MailOnline ahead of the long-awaited new series, the presenter, 45, implied the Love Island host, 35, has come full circle after he was stunned to see her sat in the audience during filming.
