The soap star, 30, appeared on ITV's Lorraine today as he spoke about his upcoming on-screen romance with Amy. He explained that Matty and Amy's friendship would soon bloom into a romance. Ash went on to speak about the fact that he had already been on the show for two years now, telling Lorraine: "It's crazy because when I signed up, it was just a three-month contract. "They were kind of like, 'So, we've got this idea for a character and we'll see how it goes.' "To still be there two years later is amazing.
