A spokesman for SP Energy Networks said: "There is a power cut in the WA4 postcode area of Warrington, affecting properties on Wilderpool Causeway, Irwell Road, Chester Road and surrounding areas. "Engineers have arrived on site to carry out investigations into the cause of the power loss. "The team will work to get power back on as quickly and as safely as possible.
