January is a long month. After Christmas and New Year it's back to work - and after three weeks into 2020 the start of the festive period already seems like a lifetime ago. But what better way to inject some excitement into the start of the year than winning the Euromillions. Tuesday evening's draw is offering a fresh new pot of £14m following Friday night's whopping £85m prize. Although tonight's jackpot is a lot smaller than last week, there's still a life-changing sum to be won.
You could take the whole family jet-setting across the world; purchase a few luxury mansions; or buy yourself a new designer wardrobe. Some of the prize money could even be donated to charity as your good deed of the year. The possibilities are endless. And even if you don't win the big prize this evening, you still have the Millionaire Maker to look forward to. Tonight we will reveal the EuroMillions lotto results, including the Thunderball numbers, Lucky Stars and the Millionaire Maker code in our live blog below as they are drawn.
Results of the draw is available at around 8.20pm GMT. The National Lottery EuroMillions draw launched in 2004 with nine countries across Europe taking part. To play, you simply have to select five numbers between 1 and 50, plus two Lucky Star numbers between 1 and 12. EuroMillions draws take place every Tuesday and Friday evening from around 8.30pm. Ticket sales for both Tuesday and Friday EuroMillions draws close at 7.30pm GMT on the evening of the draw.
Well as it would be the fifth successive draw that wasn't snapped up it can't be rolled over again - so the entire prize will then be split between the winners in the next tier. That means winners in the next tier will be getting more money for less numbers, making lots more multi-millionaires. If it reaches this level, it will be capped - if the jackpot is not won, any additional money in the jackpot prize fund over and above €190 million will roll down to boost the prize money at the next highest tier where there are winners (most likely the 5+1 tier). This can happen four times before the €190 million must be won. If this happens and the jackpot is still not won, the entire €190 million - plus any additional money in the jackpot prize fund over and above this amount - would roll down to the next highest tier where there are winners (most likely the 5+1 tier). The Euromillions draw tonight is a rollover and there are millions to be won. The jackpot tonight is a nice £14m, after a lucky person claimed the £85,964,733 jackpot last Friday. Even ticket-holders feeling the pinch after Christmas will be waiting to hear the results of the draw and Thunderball. The main draw and Thunderball take place on Saturday, while on Monday we will have the Set for Life draw - followed by Euromillions on Tuesday. Tonight's results and Thunderball numbers will be updated below as and when they are drawn. Tickets for the Euromillions cost £2.50 per line, while Thunderball Tickets cost £1.
