Organisers of events from Pembrokeshire to Porthcawl have reluctantly decided to move their displays into next week, as heavy winds and rain are forecast overnight. Some of the larger displays have announced they will carry on regardless of the weather, advising people to wrap up warm and wear wellies before heading to their displays. Postponed The Hi-Tide Inn, Porthcawl Organisers at the annual fireworks display at the Hi-Tide Inn at Porthcawl announced on Saturday afternoon that bad weather had forced them to cancel Saturday's display. It has now been rescheduled for Tuesday, November 5 at 7.30pm. St Paul's Church, Sketty, Swansea St Paul's Church display has been cancelled, with organisers saying they had rescheduled it for next Saturday (hopefully). Bethlehem's Bonfire & Fireworks Night, Pembrokeshire The fireworks night and Guy Fawkes competition has been postponed, with a rearranged date still to be announced. Bryntirion Fireworks, Laleston Community Council Due to predicted weather conditions, this event has been postponed until tomorrow (Sunday) at 6.00 pm. Still going ahead Ponty Big Bang, Pontypridd Organisers said: "It's a dry afternoon with some sun at Pontypridd and the fairground is now setting up ready for this evening and our teams of volunteers are busy finalising the fencing and lighting ready for Ponty Big Bang. "There is likely to be some rain later, but we will be going ahead regardless - please bring sensible shoes and a waterproof jacket. We would only have to cancel the event for safety reasons if there are strong winds, and those are not forecast." Caerphilly Castle Fireworks, Caerphilly Caerphilly Castle Fireworks will go ahead as planned tonight. The display starts at 7pm. Sparks in the Park, Cardiff Organisers have confirmed the show will go on. They said: "The skies are clearing and we are gearing up to open the gates at 4.30pm today for Sparks 2019. Tickets need to be purchased in advance and are available to buy until 7pm (main fireworks display at 7.30pm)." Barry Island Fireworks Fiesta, Barry Despite the weather the Barry Island Fireworks Fiesta is still going ahead this evening. Organisers warned there could be alterations to the pre-fireworks entertainment, depending on the weather. The Westend Firework Musical Extravaganza, Merthyr For those attending The Westend Firework Musical Extravaganza tonight, doors are due to open at 4pm as planned. Organisers said: "The weather at the moment looks a bit changeable so we will adjust the evening to suit whatever is thrown at us. "The club will be open from 4pm, it will be full so prompt attendance will be required, be aware of the seating and prams can be put in the changing rooms at end of corridor." Cwmbran Stadium, Cwmbran Organisers have confirmed the fireworks are still on tonight. They have warned crowds to "make sure you wrap up warm and bring your rain coats". The Scarlets' Fireworks Spectacular, Llanelli (Sunday) At the moment, the Scarlets' Fireworks Spectacular, scheduled for Sunday, November 3, will still go ahead as planned, which promises "a sparkling, fun-filled night guaranteed". Held in association with Radio Carmarthenshire, there will be live entertainment leading up to the fireworks display as well as a funfair in the stadium car park and various food and drink stalls to keep crowds refreshed during the evening. Tickets are £6.50 for adults and £4.50 for under-16s and can be purchased from the ticket office on 01554 29 29 39.
