If missing the football because of coronavirus has left you feeling bereft then don't worry, because you can host everything for free from your PC. Football Manager 2020 is easily the best entry in the franchise for years, but if you don't believe us then you can try it for free on PC right now. Although Sports Interactive makes only an indirect reference to the coronavirus on their blog, the timing is pretty obviously to coincide with both the lack of real matches and the fact that so many people are self-isolating and/or 'working' from home. So if you want to make sure you get absolutely nothing constructive done then all you have to do is click this link and download the game for free. A week with the game should be plenty of time to get the gist of it, then if you enjoy yourself you can buy the full game for £39.99 and all your saves and progress during the free trial will be carried over. Football Manager 2020 is completely free to play on Steam for a week, Sports Interactive has announced. It's free to play from today, 18th March until 3pm UK time on 25th March on PC and Mac. After this, you can continue by buying the game at any time as your career progress will be saved in either your Documents folder or the Steam Cloud. And with real-life football cancelled for the foreseeable future, Football Manager 2020 is a good shout for fans missing the beautiful game. With the coronavirus pandemic stopping all sporting events for the foreseeable future, that means no football on show for fans to enjoy.
It's very detailed and highly immersive, making it one of the most played PC games right now. Deals website Topcashback is giving anybody who buys FIFA 20 £15 back, meaning if you buy a used version you can get the game for just £20 after cashback. There's not much football being played right now, and even Euro 2020 has been postponed, but if you're stuck inside and missing the ups and downs of your team, you can at least try your hand at simulating them in Football Manager 2020. Sports Interactive is letting everyone don a flat cap and manage a team for free until March 25. Football Manager 2020 is free on Steam now, so you can add it to your library now.
