ABERDEEN could receive a financial boost in January with Liverpool set to move for Ryan Fraser. The former Dons ace is out of contract at Bournemouth next summer and looks likely to leave the club. 1 Credit: PA:Press Association Fraser was linked with a £30million move to Arsenal in the summer but remained at the Cherries. And now Liverpool look set to seal a cut-price deal for the on-form winger with talkSPORT claiming they could make a £10-15m bid. That could see Aberdeen land £3m after a 20% sell-on clause was inserted into the Scotland star's contract when he left Pittodrie in a £400,000 move in 2013.
Fraser made 23 appearances for the Reds after coming through the youth ranks. He had his breakthrough season in 2012/13 which led to a big-money move to then League One Bournemouth. He helped Eddie Howe's men gain promotion to the Championship and then the Premier League before he was shipped out on loan to Ipswich. Fraser starred last season as he netted seven goals and made 14 assists as the Cherries finished 14th.
