Police and emergency services were called to the station near Glasgow after 9am this morning following reports of a casualty on the tracks with the line. Sadly the person was pronounced dead at the scene. British Transport Police are in the process of notifying the person's next of kin. A spokesman for British Transport Police said: "British Transport Police were called to Bowling station at 9.19am on 26/06 following a report of a casualty on the tracks.
"Officers attended but sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers are in the process of notifying the person's next of kin." The line between Bowling and Dumbarton Central was closed as emergency services deal with the incident but has since reopened.
