An intrepid collaboration between the Florentine house and the American outdoors expert has us yearning for the great outdoors Gucci's Alessandro Michele is an explorer of time, genre and gender, and now the brand's creative director has brought his imaginatively intrepid spirit to the great outdoors, through the Florentine label's collaboration with American outdoors expert The North Face. Reaching new sartorial heights, the men's and women's collection features a range of ready-to-wear, accessories and footwear that have a luxe explorer's spirit, from walking boots to padded onesies, bucket hats to lumberjack shirts. But it's the offering's range of puffer jackets, hiking rucksacks and bum bags, swathed in psychedelic and floral prints, that have really reached a patterned style peak. We'll be striding into 2021 in pieces that nod to the graphic design history of both brands. Think puffer jackets with graphic retro prints that incorporate Gucci's interlinked 'GG' motif, or patterns featuring The North Face logo, the base of its 'Half Dome' peak motif reimagined in Gucci's classic red and green colour palette.
