The Post's Drew Loftis evaluates all the relevant fantasy football news for Week 7 of the NFL season. Big Weeks Daniel Jones QB, Giants, vs. Cardinals (FanDuel $7,200/DraftKings $6,100) The Cardinals have given up 16 touchdowns. But they have made up for it by getting zero interceptions. Evan Engram will be a big beneficiary, with Arizona even worse at defending the tight end (league-worst 13.6 fantasy points more than weekly average in PPR leagues).
Matt Breida RB, 49ers, at Redskins (FD $5,600/DK $5,300) Tevin Coleman is still a better play, any we don't recommend starting both, but if you are a stand-alone Breida owner, this is a nice spot. Washington gives up the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing RBs. Frank Gore RB, Bills, vs. Dolphins (FD $6,000/DK $5,200) Only the Bengals give up more rushing yards per game (attention: Leonard Fournette owners). Considering routine game flow (Dolphins playing from behind), they have the most rushing attempts against in the league. Michael Gallup WR, Cowboys, vs. Eagles (FD $6,300/DK $3,400) Amari Cooper (quad), if he does play, could be limited in either snaps or efficiency, Gallup's knee issue appears to be less of a problem. He gets a steady dose of targets with a healthy Cooper. He averages 16.1 per catch, and the Eagles have been vulnerable to big plays in the passing game. Small Weaks Sam Darnold QB, Jets, vs. Patriots (FD $7,100/DK $5,200) He looked great last week, but this isn't a good week to use him. The Pats stuff everyone. Though, if you are a Patrick Mahomes owner, now is the time to add Darnold. The upcoming schedule after this week is juicy. Latavius Murray RB, Saints, at Bears (FD $5,300/DK $5,100) With Alvin Kamara out, the veteran will get the brunt of the Saints' ground work. The Bears will be feisty after getting steamrollered by Josh Jacobs and the Raiders in London two weeks ago. The Saints' short passing game allows defenses to more easily stack the box against the run. David Montgomery RB, Bears, vs. Saints (FD $5,900/DK $4,800) The Saints have shut down Leonard Fournette and Ezekiel Elliott in recent weeks. Mitchell Trubisky is expected back from a shoulder injury. But an erratic QB who could be rusty with an unimposing WR corps does little to divert defensive interests from the running game. Terry McLaurin WR, Redskins, vs. 49ers (FD $6,400/DK $6,100) The San Francisco defense is no joke: fourth-stingiest against opposing fantasy WRs and fewest passing yards allowed per game. Expect the entire offense to stall and drag McLaurin down with it.
