The Made In Chelsea hunk is clearly ready to be sewn into Strictly Come Dancing 's flamboyant costumes after his startling confession about Sophie Habboo's wardrobe. Jamie, 31, hit the stage last night for the first time with pro partner Karen Hauer, 38. But before his opening performance he came clean on the clothes front. He said: "I've had a moment of realisation, of clarity.
I'm going to say it – I like wearing my girlfriend's shirts. "They fit better, they look better, they feel better. That's a weight off my shoulders." Jamie and Sophie, 27, have been dating since last year. He was due to be on Strictly last year but had to pull out because of a foot injury. His replacement, ex-Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher, 36, was a more than adequate substitute as he lifted the glitterball trophy with partner Oti Mabuse, 30. So, no pressure on Jamie and partner Karen, who finished fourth last year with comedian Chris Ramsey. Jamie's preparations for 2019's Strictly also did not go smoothly as it emerged he had cheated on Sophie with Made In Chelsea newbie Rosi Mai Waldon. But he and Sophie stayed together. The E4 reality show follows the heirs and heiresses of the Chelsea social set. Jamie is a descendant of Sir Alexander Grant, 1st Baronet, who created the McVitie's digestive biscuit in 1892. (Image: PA) Jamie is the founder of his own confectionery company, Candy Kittens. But it sounds like they will be off the menu while he's taking part in Strictly. Jamie has started emergency fasting because he thinks he looks fat on Strictly. He said on his Private Parts podcast: "We had to do our show which is shown this weekend. And I was looking at myself and I have put on loads of weight. I'm like, big and chubby. And the good news is it only goes out to 14 million people!" Co-host Francis Boulle suggested fasting. "That's what I'm doing man," replied Jamie.
