ET Canada Player ET Canada Jason Momoa, Hera Hilmar Talk 'See' Since "Aquaman", Jason Momoa has dried off and returned to conquering the small screen in his new Apple TV+ series "See". While catching up with ET Canada correspondent Keshia Chante, the actor wants to reassure fans that this series is nothing like "Game of Thrones". Plus, co-star Hera Hilmar shares what she hopes audiences take away from the show. Jason Momoa is a US actor who is best known for his roles as Aquaman, lifeguard Jason Ioane in Baywatch Hawaii, and Ronan Dex in Stargate Atlantis. The Hawaii-born star is dedicated to his family and even has a notable tattoo on his left forearm which is a tribute to his family god or "aumakua".
But what heart-wrenching comment did he make about his family? See on Apple TV release date, cast, trailer, plot: When is the new... Game of Thrones actor Jason Mamoa will be featured on the Graham Norton show tonight speaking about his new TV drama. The TV show called See is a new post-apocalyptic drama and was created by the producers of The Planet of the Apes trilogy and the director of the Hunger Games films. The show will see him take on the role of Baba Voss, a father of twins born centuries from now, in a far flung future where a virus has decimated humankind and all survivors are blind.
Some would go as far as to say that it is downright weird. However, what we know is they are quirky, cute, and absolutely perfect for each other. How did this love match begin? The answer might surprise you. Even more surprising is Momoa's admission about what he used to say about his now-wife before he even met her. Jason Momoa had a serious crush on Lisa Bonet for years Jason Momoa | Presley Ann/FilmMagic Serious crush doesn't do justice to how Momoa felt about Bonet when he first saw her playing Denise Huxtable on The Cosby Show. That was the 1980s and Momoa was 8-years old. At the time, Momoa said to his mother: "Mommy, I want that one. I want her. I am going to get her," while pointing at Bonet, on the small screen. Momoa later admitted to James Corden on The Late Late Show that one of the creepy things he used to say about Bonet is: "I'm going to stalk you for the rest of my life, and I'm going to get you. I'm a full-fledged stalker." When did Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet meet? Momoa and Bonet met through mutual friends in 2004. Bonet was at a jazz club in Los Angeles with her friends. Momoa just happened to be there too. That's when a friend of Momoa who knew Bonet introduced him to her. Momoa described the feelings he had as, "fireworks going off inside." Later in the evening, Momoa talked Bonet into giving him a ride to his hotel. They stopped at a café along the way. When Bonet ordered a Guinness, Momoa was smitten. Bonet described the scene in an interview with Porter Magazine: "At that moment, love came, and it came big, and he did not run as I think a lot of men do." She added: "He basically picked me up and threw me over his shoulder, caveman style." Did Jason Momoa really stalk Lisa Bonet? Momoa didn't actually stalk Bonet but he lightly jokes about it being the case. He says he kept his "stalker status" from Bonet for years. Momoa was smart enough to realize if he spilled the beans to Bonet up front, that "it would have been too creepy and weird." Instead, he waited until after their son, Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha, was born to share how obsessed he had been with her. They also have a daughter Lola Iolani. In what other ways are Jason Momoa's and Lisa Bonet's relationship unusual? Other than their height difference — he is 6 feet 4 inches tall and she is 5 feet 2 inches — Bonet is 12 years older than Momoa. They live an unconventional life by shunning modern electronic devices and do not have a television in their home. They do manage to watch some shows on their computer, and say they enjoy Saturday Night Live. Momoa, Bonet, and Bonet's daughter Zoë Kravitz — with singer Lenny Kravitz — have matching forearm tattoos. The tattoo in French, "Etre toujours ivre" means "be always drunk." Even more weird, a male friend of Momoa's has the same tattoo. A quote in an article about the couple on Nikki Swift says it best: "Welcome to Hollyweird." Is Lenny Kravitz still involved in Lisa Bonet's life? Kravitz and Bonet are as close as ever. He joins the family for Thanksgiving and Bonet has said: "It's fantastic. It's full-on family love." Kravitz calls Bonet "his best friend" and she once left Momoa at home while she went to the Met Gala with Zoë Kravitz and Lenny Kravitz so there's no tension there since Momoa and Lenny Kravitz are pals as well. Momoa bought Kravitz a hand carved ring and Momoa wears a matching one. Zoë Kravitz is quoted in Ocean Drive magazine as saying that "their intertwined family makes things so easy." She adds: "My dad and Momoa get along really well and it's totally healthy."
