Heung-min Son is Tottenham 's best player and has been for two years, according to former Spurs midfielder Jermaine Jenas. Son is Spurs' second top scorer this season, netting 10 times and also providing eight assists. Harry Kane is the club's top scorer having scored 17 times in all competitions this term. Jenas did not want to take anything away from Kane, who has won two of the last four Premier League Golden Boots. However, he says South Korea star Son is more important and is a typical Jose Mourinho player.
"Honestly, I've said for a couple of years, I think he's been Spurs' best player for a couple of years," Jenas said on BT Sport. "Harry Kane's been unbelievable don't get me wrong but I think what he brings to the table in terms of the goals, the way he plays, the work rate, he is a complete Jose Mourinho-type player from an attacking point of view. Mourinho says the competition is "very very important" to the visitors this season, but last season's beaten Champions League finalists will be without star striker Harry Kane, who tore his hamstring in the game at Southampton on New Year's Day.
