Harry Redknapp won the nation over with his hilarious banter and undeniable charm on Im a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! last year when he was crowned King of the Jungle. Now it seems he's a firm favourite with Strictly bosses too after his odds to appear have dropped The jam roly-poly lover had his odds cut from an average 3/1 to an odds on 5/4 by Ladbrokes, suggesting he is a prime candidate to hit the dance floor this coming September. Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "Harry's clearly high on Strictly chiefs' wanted list and the odds are continuing to tumble on the King of the Jungle taking to the dance floor." Fans won't find out the official line-up for a few more months, as it is being kept under lock and key by Strictly producers. The list of rumoured Strictly stars also includes former Top gear host Chris Evans, comedian Alan Carr and Boyzone star Keith Duffy. It was recently revealed by the MailOnline that Harry confirmed he had turned down the chance to appear on the show in favour of going down under. Strictly has been in the press a lot recently after it seemed the "Strictly Curse" had caused 2018 winner Stacey Dooley to split from boyfriend Sam Tucknott, due to a rumoured romance with dance partner Kevin Clifton. The alleged curse has seen the break down of more than 10 relationships on and off the show with Stacey being the latest relationship casualty. (David M. Benett/Dave Benett/WireImage) Since Strictly Come Dancing judge Darcey Bussell announced she was leaving the show earlier this month, fans have been keen to learn who will replace her on the panel. Now, it's been revealed that the BBC dance series is reportedly eyeing her former ballet partner Carlos Acosta for the gig. According to The Sun, the show has "set its sights" on the Cuban choreographer but considering he has just signed on to be Birmingham Royal Ballet's new artistic director from 2020, he's in high demand. Whether the show will cough up remains to be seen. But one thing's for certain – it's keen on bagging the 45-year-old. "Carlos is a huge name in the dance world and has been on Strictly's radar for a long time," an insider told The Sun. "Shirley's popularity as head judge proves that audiences love genuine experts, even if they're not a household name yet. "Carlos is a vibrant character, full of energy, with vast experience in his field. He ticks all the boxes and has the backing of influential producers. If Strictly can strike a deal, it would be an exciting prospect." Strictly Come Dancing presenter Tess Daly, 49, sported a plunging red blouse, black jeans and boots as she left the Ham Yard Hotel in London today. The mother-of-two, who has two daughters with husband Vernon Kay, 44, appeared sombre as she hid behind sunglasses while clutching on to her handbag. She was later seen putting on a brave face and smiling to the camera. Earlier this month, Tess revealed she had been left "devastated" when she accidentally ran over her pet after builders reportedly left the door open, prompting Minnie to escape. She told The Sun: "I'm devastated by this terrible accident. It's a dog owner's worst nightmare. "It has had a huge effect on the whole family and we are heartbroken at losing Minnie." Tess said she didn't realise Minnie had escaped and only realised when it was too late. Following the tragic news, Tess postponed her family holiday to the Maldives for her 50th birthday celebrations later this month. A source told the publication: "It all happened in a flash and there was absolutely nothing she could do. But it was sickening. "Minnie was like another child to Tess and Vernon and to lose a member of the family in such a tragic, hideous way is understandably devastating."
