Lily Allen proudly declared "I masturbate" as she launched her very own sex toy that she reckons will give women "life-changing" orgasms. The singer, who recently married Stranger Things star David Harbour, told women not to be ashamed of their sexuality as she teamed up with company Womanizer. Lily told her fans on Twitter: "I'm really excited to reveal something I've been working on with one of my favourite brands @womanizerglobal... " Lily added: "Women shouldn't be ashamed of their sexuality, and we all deserve to own our pleasure. (Image: Lily Allen x Womanizer) Lily's toy, The Liberty, will set shoppers back £89, but she guarantees it'll be worth every penny.
Lily, who is described as the company's "Chief Liberation Officer", also stars in an advert for her product. She says: "Loving yourself should be the most normal thing in the world. Rolling around on her bed in her pyjamas, she adds: "So let's be open about it. On the company website, Lily is quoted saying that female masturbation should not be a taboo subject. She says: "I think the only way to make taboo subjects no longer taboo is to speak about them openly and frequently and without shame or guilt." She also says about the product: "It changed my orgasmic experience all together.
"Sex toys are still seen as a taboo subject because they are related to masturbation and female pleasure. Female pleasure in itself is a taboo subject," Allen added. "The only way to make taboo subjects no longer taboo is to speak about them openly, frequently and without shame or guilt." #IMasturbate #LilyAllenxWomanizer. The 'Liberty' Womanizer is on sale from today (October 22), and you can find out more information here. Last month, Allen announced her marriage to Stranger Things star David Harbour.
"[It's about] feeling able and willing to communicate your wants, needs, and desires in a non-shameful way." I don't know about you, but growing up I felt – because of what I saw in the media and what was taught to me – that there was so much stigma attached to female masturbation. It was shameful, y'know? And embarrassing, and taboo, and something we had to keep a secret. That's what Lily, along with Womanizer, are trying to change – they want to make sex toys, touching yourself, and orgasms normal, as they should be. "As with everything, until you're ready to have these conversations in a public way, then they're always going to stay a taboo subject," Lily said. "That's how we normalise things, by normalising them and talking about them without shame, fear, or guilt. Lily's relationship with Womanizer began when she wrote about the toy in her Sunday Times best-selling memoir My Thoughts Exactly. In the memoir, Lily talked about discovering her own sexual pleasure. And that's how she came across Womanizer. She wrote, "If I had to pick one vibrator above all the others, I recommend Womanizer." And now we have the Liberty. Credit: Womanizer. The Liberty is small, lightweight, stylish, and it has six levels of intensity. It's also 100% waterproof, if you want to take it into the bath with you. As you might already know, Womanizer uses revolutionary Pleasure Air Technology which stimulates the clit with gentle air waves. It's next level pleasure. "[It's] completely different", Lily said. "Womanizer can give you an orgasm within a short time and even multiple ones." The Liberty also comes with a magnetic cap so it's travel-safe and slips easily into your bag. Together, the team created brand new packaging for the Liberty and a fabulously bold colour scheme for the toy itself. It's very, very cute. Womanizer's Liberty by Lily Allen costs $149.99, and you can check out all the details right here. Priced at £89, Lily promises her pocket-size "Liberty" toy will change your life when it comes to the art of self pleasure. "The Liberty is available everywhere now. "Womanizer changed my life, and I wanted to share my experience. "Women shouldn't be ashamed of their sexuality, and we all deserve to own our pleasure. Hopefully this little toy will help you do that! Lily has long been open about her sexual antics. As well as speaking freely about romping all over the world in her gritty autobiography My Thoughts Exactly, Lily took to social media to talk about pleasuring herself last year. Posting to her Instagram story in May 2019, Lily held up some sex toys before saying: "I am not joking when I tell you that these things... these toys have changed my life. "They are very good toys. "I appreciate me time and I am also not being paid to big this thing up... "But I do think that we should share our good discovery with each other." Lily captioned another: "Orgasms are good." Lily's Liberty Liberty is available on Womanizer and Lovehoney now If you read Lily Allen's memoir, My Thoughts Exactly, you might remember her talking about using vibrators while she was on tour - recommending her personal favourite, the Womanizer. (She wrote in the 2018 book: 'And since you ask if I had to pick one vibrator above all the others, I recommend the Womanizer.') Fast forward a couple of years, and the singer has now launched a vibrator - Liberty by Lily Allen - with the company. The musician is also joining Womanizer as their Chief Liberation Officer, working on their #IMasturbate campaign, which is aiming to tackle the stigma surrounding female pleasure and masturbation. (According to a study by the company, men masturbate over three times more than women.) 'Sex toys are still seen as a taboo subject because they are related to masturbation and female pleasure,' Lily said. 'Female pleasure in itself is a taboo subject. The only way to make taboo subjects no longer taboo is to speak about them openly, frequently and without shame or guilt.' At £89, the vibrator is limited edition and has 'six intensity levels, simple two-button operation and is 'perfect for travel and discreet in handbags'. The company is famous for it's Pleasure Air Technology - the vibrator uses gentle air waves to stimulate the gentle nerve endings of the clitoris - which Lily says 'can give you an orgasm within a short time and even multiple ones'. 'For us Lily is the embodiment of our brand: brave, honest, authentic and approachable,' added Johanna Rief, Head of Sexual Empowerment at Womanizer. 'We are happy and thankful that we share the same mission which is to wipe out the social stigma around sexuality and pleasure and make sure that future generations grow up in a more liberal and open-minded society.' Lily Allen's 'Liberty' Womanizer is available on Womanizer and Lovehoney from today. READ MORE: Lily Allen and David Harbour Marry In Las Vegas
