Line-up announced for this year's Rewind Festival - with Thin Lizzy and Gloria Gaynor headlining

The festival also features Lulu, Paul Young, The Stranglers, Toyah, Lisa Stansfield, Belinda Carlisle, Midge Ure, Black Box and Eddi Reader. The Skids, Big Country, Hazel O'Connor, The Undertones, The Primitives, Joyce Sims, Hipsway and Bjorn Again are also on the line-up, plus there's a DJ set from Martin Kemp. Ferry will headline on Sunday July 21, fresh from being inducted into the 2019 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of Roxy Music. He said: "Really looking forward to returning to Scotland this year to perform at Rewind Festival." Lulu said: "It's going to be a fantastic weekend of live music from start to finish at Scone Palace. I had a wonderful time at Rewind South four years ago and I'm looking forward to catching up with some of the fantastic artists backstage." Bryan Ferry will close the festival on Sunday night, fresh from being inducted into the 2019 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of Roxy Music.

"We are welcoming a host of fantastic artists who will be performing at the festival for the very first time like Bryan Ferry, Foreigner, The Stranglers, Lulu and Lisa Stansfield. Lulu said: "I am excited to come home to Scotland and perform at Rewind for the first time. "I had a wonderful time at Rewind in England four years ago and I'm looking forward to catching up with some of the artists backstage." Lisa Stansfield, Belinda Carlisle, Big Country, The Undertones, The Skids, Martin Kemp, Hipsway and The Primitives are also set to play over the July weekend. Rewind Festival is returning to Capesthorne Hall in Macclesfield in August following its 10th anniversary celebration last year.

This year, Thin Lizzy and Gloria Gaynor will headline the three-day extravaganza with other acts already confirmed including UB40, Level 42, From the Jam, Black Box, Cutting Crew and Heaven 17. A host of iconic names from the 1980s and beyond will perform at this year's Rewind Festival in Macclesfield. Ali Campbell and Astro, Heather Small, Level 42, Tiffany and Martin Kemp are just some of the names that have been announced to play at the three-day festival which celebrates the music icons of yesteryear.

Disco queen Gloria Gaynor is set to headline August 3 at Capesthorne Hall, Macclesfield, where she will perform on the same day as Bananarama, Tiffany, Heather Small, Hazel O'Connor, UB40 (feat. Rock legends Thin Lizzy will close the North festival on August 4, with Level 42, Heaven 17, Joyce Sims, Cutting Crew, Black Box, Bjorn Again, The Selecter and From The Jam joining them. The throwback extravaganza will conclude with a headlining set from rock legend Michael Bolton, who will close the festival in Henley-on-Thames on August 18, joined by a stellar line-up featuring Sister Sledge, Belinda Carlisle, Paul Young, Midge Ure, Hazel O'Connor, The Wailers, The Selecter, Neville Staple and From The Jam.
