The M32 motorway into and out of Bristol has been closed in both directions after a multiple-vehicle collision. All three emergency services are on scene, and the authorities say the motorway is likely to be closed for many hours. It is understood the closure happened after a multi-vehicle crash on the route into and out of Bristol. All three emergency services are at the site of the crash and authorities have said the motorway will likely be closed for several hours. Traffic has built up in both directions, but particularly on the outbound side, northbound, where a three-mile queue has developed. Diversions are now in place. Images taken near to where the crash happened show emergency services vehicles and personnel on both sides of the road. Bristol Airport advised people set to travel from its terminals to "seek an alternative route and allow extra time for your journey". Drivers took to social media to share their experiences about what was happened in the tailbacks. One said: "Stuck on the M32 behind a rather bad crash. Fireman just told us we'll be here for a while." Another added: "There is a huge crash on the M32 and we drove over the bridge above the motorway and so many people pulled up and were just gauping." (Image: Kody Mistry) The crash happened just hours after two lorry drivers were killed in a horror collision on the M1 on Saturday morning. Bedfordshire Police were called just before 6.45am to reports of a collision between two HGVs on the M1 southbound between Junction 13 and Junction 12.
