The Bentall Centre in Kingston has reportedly been "evacuated" with a large number of emergency services present at the scene. Reports first surfaced on social media at around 1.15pm on Friday (February 7), with claims that an air ambulance had landed in the area. One Twitter user said: "Looks like there is something going on in Bentalls Kingston. Air ambulance just landed on top of the Bentalls car park and there are ambulances outside the entrance by John Lewis, and there is a partition around someone inside." Another added: "What is happening in Kingston? The entire Bentalls is shut down and evacuated with so many police cars and ambulances." The Bentall Centre, known locally as Bentalls, contains 75 stores covering fashion to food and drink.
