Mars New Zealand has recalled several batches of its Uncle Ben's brown basmati due to the possibility of glass in its packets. The company said it was working with retailers to have the product removed from store shelves. The affected 250g heat and eat packs were those with best before dates: 16/02/2021, 09/03/2021, 10/03/2021, 09/04/2021, 03/05/2021, 01/06/2021, 02/08/2021, 01/10/2021. Mars said the affected product should not be consumed, and if purchased already, must be returned to supermarkets for a full refund or exchange.
