Strictly Come Dancing 2019 is coming this September on BBC One with new judge Motsi Mabuse replacing Darcey Bussell. Motsi joining the judging panel may allow Strictly bosses to introduce new rules for the dancing show. Strictly bosses have also reportedly changed a big casting rule this year. Will there be new Strictly Come Dancing rules? So far, Strictly bosses have not revealed any major judging rule changes, though there have been reports that Motsi will be banned from speaking to her sister, Strictly pro Oti Mabuse, for the duration of the series.
Some fans wondered whether Strictly would bring in a rule change to prevent Motsi showing any favouritism to her sister, professional dancer Oti Mabuse. However, a Strictly insider told MailOnline: "Motsi and Oti have been in this position before as judge/pro dancer on the German version of the show for multiple series - and were much loved." Oti appeared as a dancer on two seasons of Let's Dance the German version of Strictly and she was judged by her sister in both series. Oti told The Sun that during this time: "We weren't allowed to talk for three months because that wouldn't be fair - she didn't talk to the other dancers, so she couldn't talk to me." WHAT DOES OTI MABUSE THINK ABOUT MOTSI?
