Papa John's Pizza Marmite Marmite

Over the past few years there have been some unlikely duos that have reached the shelves from Marmite. A few years back, they created a peanut butter that the country either fell in love with or avoided but now, the breakfast spread has done it again with an iconic scent that will either please or disgust most of us. Personal hygiene brand Lynx has partnered with Marmite for an unlikely collaboration that may just be the most iconic to date. Introducing Lynx Africa & Marmite body spray and wash, a dubious duo that is sure to spark debate across the nation. Available in Sainsbury's and Morrisons supermarkets now in both Body Spray (150ml, RRP £3.65) and Body Wash (250ml, RRP £2.84) varieties, and most UK leading supermarkets and drug stores will stock the products from 1st July.

Made 'For all the Lovers', the product is heaven scent and makes for a Marmite-y magnet. With aromatic notes of lavandin, white moss, and green herbs, along with woody profiles of creamy sandalwood and cedarwood – unexpectedly met with a slightly salty punch of Marmite. With news that trips to pubs, restaurants, and hotels back on the cards from the 4th July and the social distancing rule halved to one metre, Lynx Africa Marmite could be described as the 'world's first social distancing deo' and is a sure-fire way to keep haters away and lovers close(ish). Jamie Brooks, Lynx Brand Manager commented: "By combining two iconic legends that have shaped dating and breakfast culture across the nation, we have created a product like no other that is sure to get lovers and haters spreading the news." "We've created the scent for all the lovers, whether that's Lynx or Marmite, but with the controversial nature of the spread, believe it also might help in keeping the haters at arm's length." Marmite recently announced a shortage which sent some fans of the spread into a meltdown and some even said '2020 keeps getting worse'. Unilever, which owns the brand, said production of larger jars had to be stopped and they have only been making 250g jars of late, due to a shortage of brewers yeast.

Some fans have noticed supermarkets have sold through on shelves of Marmite it so might be worth picking some of this up whilst you can. Now some bright spark feels the world needs a combination of lynx and ….. A new toiletry range is available. The breakfast legend has lent its iconic love it or hate it smell to a new range that's on sale now. The marketing blurb says that the new fragrance contains "aromatic notes of lavandin, white moss, and green herbs, along with woody profiles of creamy sandalwood and cedarwood – unexpectedly met with a salty punch of Marmite." More like drying effluent we reckon.

OK, who had "Marmite-scented Lynx" on their 2020 bingo card? Lynx has apparently joined forces with Marmite for "the world's first social distancing deo" (is it really so hard to say "deodorant"?!), Lynx Africa Marmite. The collaboration is designed to "keep haters away and lovers close(ish)", a reference to the immortal "love it or hate it" Marmite marketing campaign. The new fragrance contains "aromatic notes of lavandin, white moss, and green herbs, along with woody profiles of creamy sandalwood and cedarwood – unexpectedly met with a salty punch of Marmite." Like a curry on a plate you forgot to wash.
