There is very slow traffic on the M5 and M4 this morning (October 29) following an accident near Almondsbury. The M5 southbound entry slip at J15 has been closed completely as a result of the crash. A second crash on the M5 between J13 and 14 is also contributing to delays this morning and traffic will soon be stopped in both directions to allow an air ambulance to attend the scene. There is also heavy congestion on the M4, with congestion building to J19 (M32 interchange) on the westbound carriageway and to J21 (M48 interchange) eastbound. Police officers and ambulance crews are in attendance.
