The sale has become an annual event, although this year the exact date was kept secret by the retailer up until a couple of weeks ago, with shoppers taking to money-saving forums to work out when it would be. Earlier this month, signs were placed at Sainsbury's stores which revealed the sale would be taking place today. It will give customers the chance to stock up on Christmas presents for less. Like in previous years there will be around 1,000 toys reduced from some of biggest children's brands stocked by Sainsbury's.
Shoppers can expect to find most toys for half price during the sale event which is expected to last for one week. * Should Halloween and Bonfire Night be banned? Brands set to be reduced include LEGO, Disney, Kindi Kids, Barbie, Frozen, Hot Wheels, Nerf, Jurassic Park, Marvel, Peppa Pig and more. Unlike previous years, those who plan on visiting Sainsbury's stores need to remember social distancing measures will be in place and shoppers within the Liverpool City Region must only shop with those in their household or support bubble.
