Leeds United host Birmingham City this afternoon while Barnsley are at home to Swansea City. Both Championship matches kick off at 3pm and could be affected by the closure on the M1.

The collision closed the southbound carriageway between J35a Stockbridge and J36 Tankersley. The incident, which we are currently live blogging, happened overnight and emergency services are still at the scene. It is thought the section of the road will reopen at around 3pm. In the meantime, there is lots of traffic around the area and Highways England has given advice to football fans making journeys around the region this afternoon.
