Steve Clarke Steven Gerrard Kilmarnock F.C.

It might be early days but Rangers know there's absolutely no room for error after two dropped points against Livingston last weekend. Steven Gerrard will be looking for his players to get back to winning ways when they host Kilmarnock at Ibrox. He'll know the importance of cranking up the pressure on rivals Celtic ahead of their return to Premiership action in the late kick-off against Dundee United. Rangers will be without Joe Aribo, Leon Balogun and Jermain Defoe for the visit of Alex Dyer's side, although Allan McGregor looks likely to return to the starting XI. Gerrard has admitted that Alfredo Morelos doesn't quite look himself at the moment, so it should be fascinating to see how he lines up in attack with Kemar Roofe and Cedric Itten waiting in the wings.

Kilmarnock know how to make things tricky for both halves of the Old Firm, and they've already taken points of Celtic this season. Stick with us here and we'll have all the latest build-up, score updates, key events and reaction from this afternoon's match, which kicks off at 3pm. Fixture: Rangers vs Kilmarnock Competition: Scottish Premiership Kick-off: 15:00 (UK time) Rangers have officially revealed their starting eleven and substitutes to play host to Kilmarnock in a Scottish Premiership encounter this afternoon. Steven Gerrard saw his men drop vital points in the league on their last outing, when they were held to a 0-0 draw away at Livingston. Gerrard will want no mistake making this afternoon when Kilmarnock, who have taken just two points from their opening four league games, are the visitors to Ibrox.

Rangers continue to do without defender Nikola Katic, who is sidelined through injury. Gerrard picks Jon McLaughlin between the sticks, while James Tavernier and Borna Barisic provide the full-back duo. In central defence, Gerrard goes with Connor Goldson and Filip Helander. Midfield sees Ryan Jack, Steven Davis and Brandon Barker slot in, while Ryan Kent and Kemar Roofe support Cedric Itten. If Gerrard needs to shake things up during the game then he has a number of options on the bench, including Scott Arfield and Jamie Murphy. Alfredo Morelos is not in the squad.
