Strictly Come Dancing Katya Jones Neil Jones

Last week's dance-off survivors bid to bounce back with feelgood party jive. Monochrome 60s outfits and infectious song from Hairspray's grand finale. High-energy and high impact, this is certainly a stark contrast to last week's emotive contemporary routine. Kicks, flicks and tricks aplenty, sharp showmanship and a rip-roaring routine. Slight mistake in the middle possibly but a leaping splits, one-footed pirouettes and no let-up in the pace.

Strictly Come Dancing 2019, Musicals Week live: jiving Karim Zeroual tops scoreboard with first perfect 40 of the series, Alex Scott at bottom

Phew. Great reception in the studio, everyone standing - except Craig, naturally. Music: "You Can't Stop the Beat" from Hairspray Judges' verdict: Motsi says "I can't sit down, come to mama" and she gives him her 10 paddle. Shirley says "mental strength to come back and deliver that, it was a flawless performance and high-level technique, you are amazing". Bruno says "a mind-blowing bravura performance, best jive we've ever seen on Strictly." Craig concludes by giving him a standing ovation. I suspect we could be in for a perfect 40 here. Judges' scores: 10 (at last!), 10, 10, 10 for a total of 40 points. First maximum of the series and one point ahead of Kelvin at the top.
