The A47 has been closed due to a 'police incident'. The road is currently shut between junction 18 of the A15 Lincoln Road and Fulbridge Road in Peterborough. There is significant queuing traffic behind the road closure which is also affecting traffic on the A1. We will have more on this breaking traffic news below in the live blog shortly. Police have shut the A47 in Peterborough after reports of concern for the welfare of a man.
The Soke Parkway is shut between junction 15 and junction 20, while emergency services deal with the incident. It was closed just after 12.15pm on Tuesday, 15 January. Cars are being diverted via the A1260 and A1139, and the closure is also affecting local bus services.
