The all new HMV Vault store is opening just months after owners announced dozens of branch closures.

HMV Vault Birmingham – where is the music store and what does it sell?

The new store is opening in Dale End in Birmingham's city centre. It claims to be Europe's biggest entertainment store - reflecting "the resurgence of the HMV brand." HMV announced just months before the opening of HMV Vault that they would be shutting branches around the country. They closed stores in 27 locations, including two in Manchester, one in London's sprawling Westfields and also Merry Hill - a shopping centre close to Birmingham.
