CELTIC: Bain, Elhamed, Simunovic, Ajer, Brown (C), McGregor, Christie, Ntcham, Forrest, Johnston, Edouard. GLASGOW, SCOTLAND - APRIL 29: Odsonne Edouard of Celtic celebrates after scoring his sides second goal during the Scottish Premier League match between Celtic and Rangers at Celtic Park on April 29, 2018 in Glasgow, Scotland. Celtic FC will host Romanian Champions CFR Cluj in the second leg of the Third Qualifying Round in the Champions League. Thanks to Forrest's goal to equalize the score, Celtic FC has the advantage coming into Tuesday's tie-breaker match. Celtic FC Boss Neil Lennon understands the need to field the best starting XI in order to fell Cluj. Many Hoops fans were disappointed with the relatively weak lineup against Motherwell that was due to the injuries of key players Ryan Christie, Mikey Johnston and Hatem Abd Elhamed. Scott Bain will see another start at goalkeeper despite allowing an easy goal to CFR Cluj, and two goals to Motherwell's Donnelly in just the last week alone. When Scott Bain is in form, he proves to be one of the better keepers in the league. He will need to bring his best form into the final match with CFR Cluj. Hatem Abd Elhamed should see his return against CFR Cluj. The right-back left last week's match against CFR Cluj due to injury, and did not lineup against Motherwell on Saturday. His return would be a huge boon for Celtic as it allows Lennon to move Ajer back to his natural position. However, expect to see Boli in the starting XI for Tuesday's match with much to prove. Kristoffer Ajer will return to the position if Elhamed is healthy. Ryan Christie will hopefully join Elhamed in returning from injury for Tuesday's match. Since we have been optimistic with Elhamed and Christie thus far, we are gonna take a realist's approach and assume Lewis Morgan has to start on the left today. Celtic and CFR Cluj have both sprung surprises in their starting line-ups, as they vie for the opportunity to face Slavia Prague in the Champions League play-off round. Hoops manager Neil Lennon appears to have switched to a back-three, with Kris Ajer, Hatem Abd Elhamed and Jozo Simunovic at the back. It appears to be a 3-5-1-1 system, with either Olivier Ntcham or Ryan Christie playing just off Odsonne Edouard. On the other hand, playing against two strikers should give the Celtic defence plenty to think about, perhaps limiting the ability of Abd Elhamed to move into a more wide position, or Ajer to step into midfield. Cluj do often switch to 4-4-2 or even 4-2-2-2 during matches, so it may be that here they make it more of a 4-3-3 as the game progresses. Callum McGregor has played left-back in the past, so it could be that when in possession he drops into defence, allowing Celtic to form more of a 4-3-3 with Forrest and Johnston pushing up to support Edouard and Abd Elhamed going to right-back.
