The fast food restaurant is offering free drinks to NHS staff, council workers and the emergency services.

Tesco is introducing a special shopping hour this Sunday for its workers and NHS staff. This Sunday, those eligible will be invited to browse an hour before traditional shop opening. It's part of a range of measures the store has introduces to try and stop panic-buying and ensure there is enough food for everybody left on the shelves. As coronavirus fears continue to grow, a number of restaurant chains are giving free food and drinks to those working for the NHS. Chains including Nandos, McDonald's, Starbucks, Domino's, Pret A Manger and Leon have introduced new offers for public sector workers.

Greggs Greggs has announced it will give free hot drinks to all emergency services workers as well as health and social care workers. A statement said: "Greggs has a long-standing history of supporting the communities that we serve. "From today we'll be offering all emergency personnel and health and social care workers free hot drinks on presentation of their work pass – they are doing an amazing job, and this is the least we can do to support them."
