Former BBC Breakfast presenter Steph McGovern announces birth of baby girl

We're all fine and dandy. "Just getting used to the eau de sick/poo I am now regularly wearing. #babylife". It's the new-mum's first baby with her girlfriend. The news follows headlines that the presenter has left BBC Breakfast after 18-years to bag her own Channel 4 entertainment show. Titled 'The Steph Show', she'll leave the Salford studios behind to work from Channel 4's new headquarters in Leeds. On her appointment, Steph said: "It's going to be nerve-wracking, but there's nothing I love more than finding out what makes people tick, whether it's a famous face or someone we haven't met yet who has a cracking story to tell." The show will come to screens in spring 2020. She initially announced her pregnancy news on Twitter back in July.
