Kevin the Carrot's back once again to fight the Grinch-like leafy blinders - a bunch of Brussels sprouts with Brummie accents - and spread festive cheer. Kevin, dressed in an extremely dapper top hat and coat, finds himself pressed up against a grater as the Leafies close in. But lo and behold, a tomato hucked at poor Kevin gnaws his way through his bonding and sets him free. The leader, Russell Sprout, is steaming over Kevin and his mates being the preferred Christmas veggie.
Kevin makes his way, with his new red pal, Tiny Tom, to the circus, where he performs spectacular acrobatic feats over platefuls of mouth-watering Christmas food. (Image: Youtube) Kevin's been hitting up our telly screens since 2016, and despite Russell's best efforts, he's putting on a hell of a show once again. Sean McGinty, Director of Marketing for Aldi UK, is super excited about Kevin's stunning return. He said: "We're all thrilled to see Kevin back on our screens again, getting up to his usual tricks. Kevin's popularity grows every year and he's becoming something of a national treasure! Kevin's magical Big Top is the perfect environment to showcase the amazing quality of the Aldi Christmas range of food and drink this year." He'll turn up again this year on Thursday 7th November a 5:30pm on ITV.
