The pair of presenters usually host the ITV1 daytime TV favourite each Monday morning to Wednesday morning. On Thursday, Susanna is typically joined by Ben Shephard, as Piers takes his four-day weekend. But this week, neither of the pair are in the studio for their usual slots - instead replaced by a vast array of other presenters. The reason for this is simple: the pair are enjoying some time off to coincide with the half term break.

Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid's absence from Good Morning Britain explained

At the height of the coronavirus crisis, Piers extended his working week to present GMB from Monday to Thursday. But now he is back down to three episodes a week and will be back in the studio next Monday. Susanna and Piers are being replaced by the likes of Adil Ray this week - and the Citizen Khan creator is not the only one in the studio. Kate Garraway is also being utilised by the show, alongside Charlotte Hawkins, and Sean Fletcher too. Alex Beresford is also being used, while Ranvir Singh concentrates on her upcoming stint on Strictly Come Dancing, which starts on BBC One this weekend. GMB continues to air each weekday from 6am and it is not the only change we see this week. Indeed, Holly Willoughby, 39, is missing from This Morning, while she spends time with her kids over half-term. Phil Schofield is also absent as Eamonn Holmes hosts with wife Ruth Langsford on ITV1.
