The Rangers starting XI for Thursday evening's Europa League fixture against Lech Poznan has been confirmed by UEFA. The Gers have already secured progression to the Round of 32, while their opponents cannot reach the knockout stages. Yet, there's still plenty riding on the game, as the Gers will theoretically be in line for an easier draw if they can win Group D, while there's also a substantial cash bonus up for grabs. Steven Gerrard made it clear in advance of the fixture that he would make several alterations to the side that hammered Ross County 4-0 on Sunday. The first of those comes in goal, with Jon McLaughlin making his first Europa League start in place of Allan McGregor.
In defence, there are two changes as Nathan Patterson and Borna Barisic come in for James Tavernier and Calvin Bassey, while Connor Goldson and Leon Balogun are retained at centre-back. Bongani Zungu comes into the midfield and he's joined by Scott Arfield and Glen Kamara. Finally, Cedric Itten leads the line and will be supported by both Joe Aribo and Ianis Hagi. Rangers know that as long as they at least match Benfica's result away at Standard Liege, they will top Group D. Here are the eight Champions Leage clubs dropping into the Europa League for the Round of 32 stage.
