Poppies, wreaths, badges and more will be on sale at Preston Markets between Saturday 24 October and Saturday 7 November, 9:30am-3:30pm. The stall, ran by the Royal British Legion, raises money for the armed forces community. Mayor of Preston, Councillor David Borrow said: "I am delighted we are able to host the Royal British Legion poppy stall for another year at Preston Markets. Even during these challenging times we need to continue to donate to this charity, which supports the armed forces community. Don't forget while visiting Preston Markets to shop or buy your poppy to stay safe, adhere to the social distancing measures in place and wear a mask for everyone's safety."
